Daire is Founder and Director of Perspectives Business Consulting which specialises in maximising personal and team performance through leadership development, training and business coaching.
Daire has over 20 years’ professional experience at senior management
level across many business functions. Before setting up her own consultancy in 2000, she was General Manager of Pemberton International, the consumer business within United Drug Plc. Prior to this she held various sales & marketing roles at Quaestus International and with the Irish Export Board (now Enterprise Ireland) in Dublin and Brussels.
Daire’s unique style is one which integrates her vast practical business experience with her interest and expertise in leadership. In addition to her work at Perspectives, Daire is also an Associate faculty member at the Irish Management Institute (IMI) where she lectures and coaches on various leadership, business development and marketing programmes. She is also a Business Mentor with the Dublin City Enterprise Board.
A graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, Daire is an accredited executive coach and is qualified user in use of various psychometric assessments including Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), RocheMartin ECR Emotional Capital Leadership Assessment and 360 and the BarOn EQi. Daire is also a Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming).
Daire has a special interest in education and learning and is Chair of Amawele, a not-for profit organisation which promotes educational twinning between schools in Ireland and South Africa schools. She has also recently co-written a book with Deirdre Murray, entitled ‘Emotional Intelligence (EQ) – A Leadership Imperative’, edited by Frank Scott-Lennon which was published in November 2010.
